FHE

Here's a thing. Does anyone remember when we used to do FHE's together 4 years ago? Like, the three times we did FHE's together 4 years ago? I'd like to start that up again. Any thoughts? (Since one member of this blog is moving out of state or has already moved out of state, Nate, for some reason, refuses to join the blog, and Garrett...well, Garrett's Garrett, my question, I suppose, is only going out to Adam and Marc. But still, any thoughts?)

New Hampshire

This is Meredith, NH. By Memorial Day it will be our new home. Thus begins a new chapter in the Life and Times of Dangie. I have accepted a position with the regional planning commission. We're excited for the big move, but a little stressed, naturally. It seems like there are so many things happening in the next few weeks, it's daunting to imagine having enough time for all of them. Anyways, we hope you're all planning to come visit us sometime!!

From the Vault

Below are some pictures I found on some CDs in a box. Good times. Killer Gamecube games, Adam... very nice.

Nikko Oscar Wray

On December 16th at 2:00 I helped deliver our second child into this world and when I announced, "it's a Boy!" it became official: he is a boy (It's kind of like declaring bankruptcy, you simply have to announce your bankruptcy loudly and in the presence of two or more individuals). We named him Nikko Oscar Wray. Oscar is Heidi's Grandpa's name. Nikko (Nee Co) means sunshine or daylight in Japanese and victory of the people in greek. We realize it is sort of a strange name, but the more we thought about it the more we liked it. It sure is fun to say. Go ahead, try it, NEE-KO, Nikko.

Nikko was born 6 lbs 8 oz and 18 inches long. That makes him 2.5 lbs lighter than Logan and 4 inches shorter. Needless to say, Heidi's discomfort and recovery has been much better this time around. She only had to push three times.

I say I helped deliver Nikko because I scrubbed in, helped expose the head, grabbed the head and neck when it was fully out, pulled down gently to release the top shoulder, pulled up to release the bottom shoulder and in a rush of fluid Nikko slid onto the bed. I then picked him up and placed him directly on Heidi. It was an incredible experience.

Also, here is what Logan is growing up into:

As Foretold by Nostradamus

This blog is quite possibly the literal fulfillment of the oft-cited ancient prophecy: "Virtual Böyzz, virtualize!"

Here it is!

It's our own little corner of the internet. Add blog posts, photos, videos, whatever. After I get all of the layout and customization stuff done, Imma send off the inaugural post -- unless someone else beats me to it -- some time after Thanksgiving complete w/ pictures, recipes, and whatever else it is that's so boring that it can't belong anywhere else.
